Columnar cactus growing in the form of a bush branching from the base.
This individual has suffered a natural cristatisation.
It can reach a height of up to 1.5 metres.
The stems are cylindrical, with green shoots with a diameter of 5 to 8 centimetres.
They have 16 to 22 ribs, where the white to yellow oval-shaped areoles are located.
The spines are needle-shaped, straight, shiny and yellow, 8 mm long.
Outdoors, withstands cold and frost.
The white flower emerges from a stem up to 6 cm long.
