Opuntia Microdasys

Cactus with vertical growth, with flattened ears and a halo of small, star shaped spines.

In some individuals the spines are white, in others red and in others yellow.

Outdoors, it does not withstand frost particularly well.

Very resistant to diseases, watch out for excess water.

Yellow flowers. They will rarely flower if they are in pots.
